Men do that not only here, but in general, on purpose; they refuse to admit their own feelings of inadequacy and inferiority. Women have the upper hand. That's why they created religions to control, subjugate and humiliate them. Men are assholes. They need women more than women need them. AND what compounds it is that women resent them for what they've done to them. If that's too much to read into it, too bad.
