Yeah, the guy is a complete dweedle. Why is it that the Brits just can't shut their gobs in these films?! The caning was rather on the light side. The sound mixing was gawd awful. Sounds like during mixing the Foley was cracking a whip to make the anemic cane strokes sound better. If she was truly ill during the filming a good caning would fix her right up.
